Neymar has insisted that he is not concerned with the physical approach both sides’ adopted during Brazil’s 2-0 win over Argentina on Saturday.
The Barcelona forward was regularly fouled during the contest held at Beijing’s National Stadium, but accepts that such incidents are inevitable when two rivals meet.
“There was lots of kicking, but games between Argentina and Brazil are always like that, with plenty of physical contact. It’s normal,” he said, as reported by GOAL.
“It’s a huge duel and a great rivalry even when played on the other side of the world.
“Fouls are normal when you’re defending your country.”
