Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany has admitted he enjoyed battling with Chelsea’s Diego Costa.
The two players came together as City fought back to secure a 1-1 draw at home to Chelsea on Sunday and Kompany conceded after the game that he was delighted to come up against Costa.
“I loved it. I live for those moments,” he said, as reported by FIFA.com. “People who know me know I want nothing else than to play against the big strikers week in, week out and I enjoyed every minute of it.”
