Dante believes Dunga is the right man to lead Brazil, despite the new national team head coach dropping the Bayern Munich defender from his latest squad.

Dunga picked his 22-man squad for the September friendlies against Ecuador and Colombia recently but failed to  include the 30-year-old.

However, the Bayern defender was still full of praise for the World Cup winner and hopes to get another chance soon.

Dante spoke to Goal.com, he said: “Dunga is the right man. He is a good coach and had a lot of success with the national team before. I hope he can be successful again.

“Of course, we all expected him to make some changes to the team after the result at the World Cup.

“I just have to keep on doing my best for Bayern and hope I get another chance. It is clear that we will have some young players alongside more experienced names.”

The central defender went on insist Brazil can win the next World Cup they just need to ensure they continue improving.

Dante added: “The last time Brazil won the World Cup was in 2002. There are a lot of factors one needs to take into consideration to win the World Cup. We must keep improving and get better in all areas.”
