Brazil full back Dani Alves looks set to depart Barcelona after he was booed by home supporters during Monday’s friendly match against Mexican side Leon.

Each player was presented to the Camp Nou crowd individually before the pre-season match but when the Brazilian ran out onto the pitch he was roundly booed by most of the home fans.

The boos come as a result of Alves’ desire to exit the La Liga club and it looks likely that he will depart before the end of the transfer window this month.

Paris Saint-Germain have continuously been linked with the 31-year-old’s signature and Premier League side Liverpool have also been reportedly interested recently.

However, both sides are thought to be put off by the wage demands of the right-back.

AS believe the Brazilian will need to take a pay-cut to force a move away from Barcelona and following the reaction from the home supporters on Monday, he may be forced to do so.
