Felipe Anderson has confirmed that Neymar convinced him to join Lazio.
The midfielder, who was signed from Santos last year, believes he has benefited from his countryman’s advise to go to a team that already has Brazilian players.
“At the same time that I was joining Lazio he was going to Barcelona. We talked a lot,” he told Corriere dello Sport.
“He told me that I should join a team with some Brazilians to help me with the European mentality.
“He had Dani Alves, and I have a few of the lads to help me. They have been brilliant.”
