Juventus midfielder Romulo is determined to extend his stay with the Scudetto holders.
The 27 year-old, who is on loan from Hellas Verona, believes his family values will stand him in good stead, while he cites Denilson as his idol.
“I grew up in a poor family, but with good values,” he said, as reported by Football Italia. “Today is a dream come true. I made so many sacrifices to get here and now I’ll fight even harder to stay. I received many doors slammed in my face during my career, but it’s all in the past now.
“I was inspired by Denilson as a kid and he was my idol. I wore the Number 2 jersey when I was young, so I chose to maintain that tradition.”
