Brazil Head Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari believes Brazil will find it easier to play against Colombia because there is “no great rivalry.”
The tactician does insists, however, that Jose Pekerman’s side are better than Chile, who Brazil beat in the Round of 16, but is confident they Selecao can progress.
“They are a better team than Chile,” he said, as reported by The Guardian. “Chile have strength and play with a spirit. Colombia are more technical. So there’s no war. Our wars are against Chile, Uruguay and Argentina.
“We don’t have anything against Colombia and that makes them very happy matches, with no great rivalry. And when you don’t have that war, our players feel more at ease.”
