Chile midfielder Mauricio Isla says his team are better prepared to face Brazil this time out, four years after being eliminated by them in the World Cup in South Africa.

Brazil swept aside their continental cousins 3-0 in the last sixteen in Johannesburg in 2010, thanks to goals from Juan, Luis Fabiano and Robinho, but Isla reckons his side are a stronger team for the experience: “I think it will be a very different game to the one we had against them in South Africa.”

“I remember that game, they forced it to be played in the air. Such a game has always been difficult for us.”

“I believe that Brazil plays much better than in 2010. They have great defenders that can also play as midfielders. I think they have the best central defenders in the world.”
