Former Brazil defender Cafu has jokingly insisted former team mate Francesco Totti is better than both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 44-year-old was quoted by Forza Italian Football on who was the best player in the world and the Brazilian had a different answer to usual.
The former Roma man listed the Italian as the best, before admitting it is a shame he isn’t playing in Brazil.
Cafu joked: “Messi or Ronaldo? Totti!”
Before seriously discussing the 38-year-old Roma legend and who is actually the best out of Ronaldo and Messi.
He added: “It’s too bad that Totti isn’t competing in Brazil, I would have liked to see him play in the tournament.
“But Messi is the best, he’s the strongest player of all right now.”
Cafu will be hoping that Brazil are still able to win the competition despite Argentina having ‘the strongest player’ in Messi in their sqauad.
