Italy forward Ciro Immobile was delighted to score a hat-trick in the Azzurri’s 5-3 win against Fluminense on Sunday.
The 24 year-old, who has recently joined Borussia Dortmund, netted his first goals for Italy and though excited to do so, insists he is not getting carried away.
“The coach will make his choices, we just have to work hard and give our contribution even if we come off the bench,” he told the FIGC’s official website.
“I was really excited after scoring the first goal so you can imagine finishing with a hat-trick. It’s always important to score even if it is not in an official game.
“Now we have to be ready for England.”
