Brazil head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has arrived in Teresopolis alongside his coaching staff ahead of the official presentation to the media of the squad he hopes can bring World Cup glory to the host nation.

Staying at the Granja Comary in Rio de Janeiro state, Scolari checked in with members of his technical committee, including goalkeeping coach Carlos Pracidelli and team physiotherapist Luiz Rosan.

Brazil’s 23 squad of 23 will arrive at the hotel later on today for their initial medical test to ascertain their conditioning, before they undertake ball work on Wednesday afternoon.

With only 17 days to go until the opening game against Croatia in Sao Paulo, Scolari will now have his men at his disposal until, he hopes, a final on July 13 at the Maracana.
