Toronto goalkeeper Julio Cesar has admitted he is surprised with how well his temporary spell in Canada has gone.

The 34 year-old, who is on loan from Queens Park Rangers, is confident that he will now be fully prepared for the World Cup and believes he has benefited from the experience of playing in Major League Soccer.

“I’m surprised, coming here, with how well things are run here,” he said, as reported by mlssoccer.com. “Being in Canada, I feel very prepared for the World Cup. I feel like I’m a better person here after three months and experiencing what the club has to offer me in getting me ready for the World Cup.”
