Sandro was recently presented with the Tottenham Hotspur Goal of the Season Supporters Clubs award and he has been speaking to SpursTV about the strike against Manchester United.

As well as his goal, the Brazilian talked about his famed Kung Fu video and one of his current team mates also revealed how he was afraid of the ‘Beast’ when he moved to White Hart Lane.

Firstly on his goal versus Man United, Sandro said: “It was unbelievable. It was a good feeling because I was injured for a long time, I come back and to score this beautiful goal at home was amazing.”

The conversation, in front of Spurs supporters that had travelled from all over the globe, turned to his Kung Fu kick video that first featured on YouTube in February 2012.

The Brazilian explained: “The Kung Fu was so funny. I was in the academy gym doing hard work and I like to play in the changing room.

“I started to play with Giovani dos Santos and then (Danny) Rose started to film me and I said ‘Danny don’t tweet or facebook this’. He put it on and it was good, I love it.”

Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen addressed the crowd afterwards and explained, tongue in cheek, how he was scared of Sandro before he moved to Spurs from Ajax last summer.

Eriksen said: “Before I came I had seen a few YouTube videos and I was a little bit afraid of him before I came.

“The things I had seen were a bit scary but when I came it was a whole different person to meet so it was a good surprise.”
