Cruzeiro forward Dagoberto is fit for his club’s crucial Copa Libertadores quarter final second leg tie against San Lorenzo in Belo Horizonte this Wednesday evening as they hope to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg.

Rested for the 2-1 defeat to Atletico Mineiro at the weekend, the 31 year-old Brazilian forward returns from a slight thigh problem to represent Raposa (Foxes) if coach Marcelo Oliveira decides to utilise him.

Cruzeiro started the domestic season well but defeat against Mineiro leaves them three points off pace-setters Internacional after four games, with the demands of a continental competition adding a strain to their resources as defending national champions.

Following the San Lorenzo game, Cruzeiro then face Coritiba at home this Saturday evening.
