The summer transfer window hasn’t opened yet but despite that rumours continue to circulate surrounding footballers changing clubs and Brazilian Lucas Moura is once again being linked with a move away from Paris.

The Paris Saint-Germain winger has continuously been muted with a move after struggling to adapt at Pac des Prince and according to Fichajes.net his next destination could be England.

However, surprisingly it isn’t Manchester United who are reportedly chasing his signature but Tottenham Hotspur.

The north London club already boast three Brazilians in their ranks, although you could be forgiven for failing to include Heurelho Gomes alongside Sandro and Paulinho.

Football Direct News highlighted the apparent transfer and they reported that Louis van Gaal, the Dutchman set to become Spurs manager after the World Cup, would like to sign Lucas.

They believe that van Gaal has been in discussion with the Tottenham board about summer transfer targets and Lucas is at the top of his wish list.

Although Lucas has been linked with a move it would be hard to take this speculation seriously, especially considering the outlay Spurs made last summer and that the Brazilian would cost a hefty chunk of money.

For the time being this seems pure speculation and until van Gaal, or whoever, is confirmed as manager of Tottenham after the World Cup, this story will remain speculation and nothing else.
