Fiorentina keeper Neto has admitted he does think about representing his country in the World Cup but insists he must focus on Viola first to achieve that goal.

The Brazilian has been in fine form in Florence this season and has helped Vincenzo Montella’s team enjoy another successful season.

The 24-year-old spoke to Sky Sport Italia about his international aims after keeping a clean sheet in his sides 1-0 away win over Napoli.

Forza Italian Football quoted Neto who discussed Viola’s upcoming matches as well.

“I enjoy it when there are so many important games in a row,” the Brazilian said in reference to Fiorentina facing AC Milan on Wednesday.

“It is great to play in front of such a great atmosphere. Life is good for me just now after a difficult period and I am now able to give my all to help my team mates.

“The World Cup? To say I do not think of it would be a lie but my objective is to do well with Fiorentina.

“It would be great to be given the opportunity but I know it is difficult to get into a squad that has already won the Confederations Cup.”
