Roma captain Francesco Totti has not ruled in making an appearance at this summer’s World Cup in Brazil AS the tournament approaches. The Italian legend, still playing at the highest level at the age of 37, told Sky Italia of his desire to make coach Cesare Prandelli’s cut.

“Prandelli, if you call me, I will be proud.  I’d be happy, because the World Cup in Brazil is something that does not happen to me again.”

“But I’ve always said that I will have to see how I am physically, if I am right or not. ‘

Totti has only earned 58 caps since making his debut back in 1998 but was part of the victorious 2006 Italy squad. Should he make the flight to Brazil, Totti would provide lots of experience to coach Prandelli and his young charges.
