Roma manager Rudi Garcia has praised midfielder Michel Bastos’ role in his side’s 0-0 draw with Lazio in the Derby della Capitale.
The 30 year-old, who is on loan from Al-Ain, was brought on to replace Alessandro Florenzi on 65 minutes and Garcia was impressed with what he saw.
“Michel Bastos played with enthusiasm, he slowly settled in and had some chances later,” he said, as reported by Football Italia.
Bastos was involved in two of Roma’s best second half openings, but couldn’t convert either of them into a goal.
