Roma defender Dodô is expected to be out for around six weeks after suffering a thigh injury.
The 21 year-old succumbed the muscular problem in training this week and will not return until the end of March.
Dodô, who joined Roma from Corinthians in July 2012, had been filling in for first choice left full-back Federico Balzaretti, before losing his place to Greece international Vasilis Torosidis in recent weeks.
