Botafogo defender Dória has hailed the influence of Clarence Seedorf on his career and hopes he is a success in his new role as Head Coach of Milan.

The Dutchman, who started his reign with a 1-0 win against Hellas Verona on Sunday, left Fogão last week, after deciding to end his playing career and move into management.

Dória admits he misses Seedorf and believes the 37 year-old taught him how to be a better player.

“I do not like being separated from Seedorf, he has done so much for me,” he told ExpressoMT.

“He gave me a big hug and thanked me for all that I have done for him, I will treasure his teachings for a lifetime.

“He taught me so many things, now he has started this adventure at Milan and I give him my very best wishes.”
