First seats installed at the Arena Pantanal

Due to host four games during the World Cup, Cuiabá’s Arena Pantanal this week received its first seats. Until now about 1,000 of a total 44,000 have been installed.

Around 42,000 seats will be for the general public, almost 3,000 allocated to VIP and box areas, 54 for players and staff, 166 for obese individuals and 63 for the most important VIPs. 630 tables still need to be installed in the press area as well as 54 lockers in the changing rooms.

The first game at the Arena Pantanal will be between Chile and Australia on 13 June. Games between Russia and South Korea, Nigeria and Bosnia and Japan and Colombia will then follow.
