An injury to first-choice goalkeeper Robert Green appears to have given Julio Cesar an opportunity in tomorrow’s F.A. Cup Third Round tie against Everton at Goodison Park.

Cesar, who remains in prime position to start in the opening World Cup game against Croatia on June 12th this year, has been frozen out at Q.P.R. ever since failing to find a club in the last transfer window.

The former Inter Milan custodian, one of the most talented ‘keepers in the world whilst at Inter Milan, joined the Loftus Road side in 2012 as part of an ambitious scheme to place Q.P.R. amongst the league’s elite.

esporte.uol have reported that Cesar is finally going to get his chance this weekend- the irony being that as it is now January, he is able to join another club should the opportunity arise.

A veteran of 77 caps for the Selecao, Julio Cesar will be one of the most experienced squad members at this summer’s World Cup should he be selected.
