Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lucas Moura could return to São Paulo in January, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.
The 21 year-old has not been a regular starter under new manager Laurent Blanc this term, with eleven of his 21 appearances coming as a substitute.
Lucas was also over-looked by Brazil head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari for the Seleção’s recent friendly victories against Honduras and Chile.
A temporary return to São Paulo, where he won the 2012 Copa Sudamericana, could help him rediscover his best form and ensure he secures a place in Felipão’s squad for next summer’s FIFA World Cup.
Paris Saint-Germain signed Lucas from São Paulo in January for a reported fee of €45 million. He has been capped 34 times by Brazil.
