So the rumors were true, Arsenal are looking to bolster their attacking line with Brazilian forward Pato set to be Wenger’s first January signing.

The former AC Milan striker has had a troublesome time back in his homeland with Corinthians, and Arsenal are the first club to move for the 24 year old.

Since moving back to Brazil, Pato has come under intense criticism from many people involved with the club.

The fans voiced their anger in many ways, protests outside the ground and vandolism of the club shop, the management has many things to say about his attitude and performances, and to make matters worse, the board of directors were looking for Pato to move.

In the summer of 2013, the forward rejected a move to North London with Spurs, but now it looks like North London could be the place for Pato.

But today, the Daily Express, reports that Arsenal have had a bid turned down for Pato in the region of £6.5 million.

The Sao Paulo outfit are looking for double the amount to let the 24 year old leave the club.
