José Mourinho has praised Willian after the Brazilian netted in Chelsea’s 3-1 win at Norwich City.

The 25 year-old scored his first goal for The Blues just five minutes into his Premier League debut.

Chelsea took the lead after Oscar finished smartly from just inside the area. Anthony Pilkington equalised, before Eden Hazard and Willian secured the victory for Mourinho’s side.

“I’m happy for Willian,” the former Real Madrid manager told BBC Sport.

“He was injured in the week and the kid made himself available to try to help, and when he came on he gave us a push.”

Willian was signed for £30 million from Anzhi Makhachkala in August. His only start to date came in Chelsea’s 2-0 win at Swindon Town, in the Capital One Cup.
