Xavi has praised Barcelona teammate Neymar and has tipped the Brazilian to easily adapt to life in La Liga.
The Spaniard was impressed by the former Santos star after he made his debut in a preseason friendly against Lechia Gdansk.
“Neymar is destined to make a difference. This is a football player with the capability to create and finish,” Xavi told reporters after the match.
“Good players do not have adjustment problems, Messi and Neymar will help each other. We are very pleased by his arrival. I think he will quickly reach the highest level.”
Neymar signed for Barcelona in June after a €57 million deal was reached, with the player arriving in Spain only a few days ago due to his Seleção commitments.
The Brazilian helped Luiz Felipe Scolari’s Seleção to Confederations Cup glory after a superb 3-0 win over Spain in the final.
