In an interview with Globo, Robinho, currently playing in Italy for Milan, says he plans to return to Brazilian football to try to catch the eye of national team coach, LuizFelipe Scolari.

"I think it [returning to Brazilian football] might be a good showcase, yes. It will not be the main factor, but of course me being in Brazil Scolari will be able to follow my football more closely." commented the former Santos, Real Madrid, and Manchester City player.

He also spoke of his contract with Milan, but also mentioned that he would like to return to Santos at some point in the future.

"I am a Milan player, I have one more year on my contract and I"m very happy there. With Santos I have great respect and love for the club.

"I have fond memories of the football club where I started. But so far the proposal has not done, and Milan showed no willingness to release me. But in football everything is possible." he added.

With Santos looking for a high profile replacement for Neymar, it seems like a perfect move for both club and player.
