Seleção legend Roberto Carlos has sealed a pre-agreement on a two year deal with Sivasspor to become their coach according to a report.
Carlos, 40, is currently the director of football at Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala but has been in talks with the Turkish club for some time over a coaching role.
But now respected Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri claims that a pre-agreement has been made between Carlos’ party and Sivasspor.
Sivasspor president, Mecnun Odyakmaz, recently revealed they were close to an agreement and it seems that a deal has now been struck.
“We are engaged in serious discussions with Roberto Carlos,” he told Ankara Haber. “The interviews are positive and the transfer will become clear in the next two days.”
Ozkan Dogan, agent of Roberto Carlos, was also confident that the Brazilian would confirm a deak soon.
“Roberto Carlos and Sivas have reached an agreement in principle. He will sign the contract on Tuesday or Wednesday,” he told Milliyet.
