Real Madrid sporting director Miguel Pardeza says the club have no hard feelings towards Neymar following his decision to join Barcelona instead.

The Santiago Bernabeu outfit were also keen to lure the Brazil international to the Spanish capital and saw their offer accepted by Santos at the weekend.

However, Neymar opted for a move to Camp Nou rather than Madrid and will sign a five-year deal with the Liga champions later on Monday.

“Neymar has chosen Barcelona and we have to accept that. We have nothing else to say,” Pardeza told Canal+.

Neymar’s father previously revealed that his son, who made his last Santos appearance against Flamengo on Sunday evening, chose Barca because they are “the team that fits his style best.”

Real Madrid will end a disappointing 2012-13 campaign with a home match against Osasuna on Saturday.
