Thiago Silva has admitted that he would be disappointed if Carlo Ancelotti were to leave his position as coach of PSG.

Ancelotti has come under pressure from owner who are keen to see a new manager at the post, with Rafael Benitez a reported target.

“I would be sad if Ancelotti were to go away from the club," he told Sky Sports. “We have to wait, it is still wide open [whether he stays]. I do not know if Ancelotti will remain or leave. I came here for him, I will be sad if he departs."

Thiago Silva"s future is also up in the air, according to reports, but the Brazilian centre-back, 28, refused to divulge whether he would be leaving PSG at the end of the season.

“I will not talk about my future right now," he added. “That"s my agent"s job, he does everything I need. I will wait and see what happens."
