Diego got himself on the scoresheet as Wolfsburg were held to a 2-2 draw by Eintracht Frankfurt on the final day of the Bundesliga campaign.

Wolfsburg found themselves on the receiving end of a superb comeback from the hosts as they overturned a two-goal lead in the second half.

Polish midfielder Jan Polak got the away side off to a great start with a strike on the eighth minute.

Diego then put Wolfsburg into a two-goal lead after a simple sidefooted finish from Ivica Olic’s squared pass.

But Alexander Meier put the comeback into motion with a penalty just before the break and an unfortunate last minute own goal from Ricardo Rodriguez gave the hosts a draw.
