Real Madrid intend to make Casemiro’s loan deal permanent, according to his agent. The player is currently on loan from São Paulo.

The midfielder failed to establish himself at São Paulo and was loaned to the Spanish side until the end of the team.

He played a few games for Castilla (Real Madrid’s ‘B’ team), before being promoted to the senior team.

Casemiro’s agent Joseph Lee believes Real Madrid will sign him permanently, he told Estado de S. Paulo: “It’s certain that Real Madrid will want to keep the player, but they need to reach an agreement with São Paulo first.”

The buyout fee is estimated in 6 million Euros, which should not be an obstacle for Real Madrid.

São Paulo’s vice-president João Paulo de Jesus Lopes also talked about the situation, he said: “It’s premature to talk about this. They haven’t contacted us yet and there is a confidentiality clause”

If Casemiro joins Real Madrid permanently, São Paulo might decide to keep Denílson, who is expected to return to Arsenal once the loan deal is over.
