Brazil and Barcelona legend Ronaldo has claimed that Neymar is set to move to the Catalan giants in the summer.
In an interview with Tuttosport, the former striker inadvertently revealed his belief that the Santos star"s move is all but certain.
“He has the potential [to become one of the world"s best]," the now-retired striker is quoted as saying. “But we have to assess his impact on European football when he arrives at Barcelona.
“The first year will be difficult for him, but I"m convinced that when he adapts he"ll be one of the very best."
The slip will no doubt throw up further speculation for Neymar and Barcelona when the forward has consistently denied any such rumours.
This follows reports that Neymar"s father met with Barcelona officials earlier this month and subsequent rumours that the player will visit Spain himself after the Confederations Cup.
