Málaga stunned Portuguese giants FC Porto with a 2-0 win in the Champions League clash at the Estadio La Rosaleda which sees them go through to the quarter-finals.

Isco and Roque Santa Cruz sparked a stunning win with saw Málaga overcome a 1-0 defeat in the first leg to send the Spanish side through to the next round.

The game had no less than six Brazilians, with a further three on the bench, and Chelsea’s Lucas Piazon came on for the last 20 minutes in a cameo role.

Manuel Iturra laid on an assist for Isco’s first goal and the goalscorer turned creator for Santa Cruz’s strike in the second half which sent the crowd into raptures.

Weligton and former Arsenal midfielder Júlio Baptista played important roles while Porto’s Fernando, Alex Sandro, Danilo and Helton will be disappointed to have crashed out of the competition.
