Corinthians striker Alexandre Pato has revealed he will “never forget” the support of former club AC Milan.

The 23-year-old moved to the São Paulo side for a fee of €15 million in January after five injury-ravaged years at San Siro.

Pato has insisted that his mind is focused on his present club, and has ruled out a return to the Rossoneri in the future.

He said: “I will never forget the support of Milan. They were a team that gave me so much.

“I got there when I was 17, but I have never said anything about a return.

“I have a four-year contract with Corinthians and I am very happy here.

“My head is on the present.”

The Brazilian has made seven appearances and scored three goals for the Timão so far this term, one of which came on his debut against Oeste.
