Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has attempted to end speculation regarding Leonardo’s future at the club, amid speculation Inter are trying to tempt him back as director general.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter President Massimo Moratti is in regular contact with the Brazilian and wants him to return to the San Siro in the same capacity as his current position with the French giants.

However, Ancelotti refused to comment on the press rumours and tried to shift focus towards PSG’s game with Nancy today.

“We’re trying to change the focus from Leonardo,” said Ancelotti at a press conference ahead of the Ligue 1 clash.

Leo replaced Rafa Benitez as Inter tactician in December 2010, winning the Coppa Italia, but left in July because he was far happier working as a director than a coach.

That summer he took the job at PSG and, claim the Italian media today, is being tempted back to the Nerazzurri for a job behind a desk.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has previously confirmed that he expects the 43-year-old to remain as the club’s sporting director for next season.
