The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced on Wednesday that the Brazil national side will take on Switzerland at St. Jakob Park in Basel on August 14, in their first match post-Confederations Cup.

Switzerland, currently the 13th best team in the World according to the current FIFA World Rankings, but will have the summer off unlike Brazil.

Brazil, though, will be fresh from their Confederations Cup adventures in late June, as the focus shifts entirely to the 2014 World Cup.

The match will be Brazil’s sixth friendly of a busy 2013, with the Seleção set to face England, Italy, Russia, England (once more) and France ahead of the summer’s tournament.
