Inter defender Juan Jesus has celebrated his one-year anniversary at the Italian club, revealing that it is “a dream come true”.

The 21-year-old centre-back moved to the Nerazzurri exactly 12 months ago yesterday, following six years at his boyhood club Internacional.

Juan has celebrated this landmark and admitted that he hopes the following year is as good as the last.

“Today is a very important day for me,” he posted on his Instagram account. “I’ve been at the strongest team in the world for a year.

“It is a dream for any player. I have succeeded thanks to hard work. I want to thank Internacional for helping me grow as a player.

“During my first year many good things happened, and I hope that things carry on this way.”

Juan has made 17 Serie A appearances since joining Inter, and also represented Brazil during the London Olympic Games last summer, where he won a silver medal.
