Barcelona defender Adriano is set to miss the Copa del Rey game on Thursday against Cordoba with a leg injury.
The Catalan giants says Adriano injured his right ankle and will be watching the game from the stands.
The club has also neglected to confirm if the Brazilian will be out for a set period of time.
Adriano has been in fine form for the Catalans and scored five goals in La Liga this season as Barcelona lead their nearest rivals by 11 points.
Barcelona won 2-0 in the first leg of the round-of-16 match against Segunda side Cordoba and are favourites to progress into the quarter-finals in the second leg at the Camp Nou.
