Julio Cesar suffered a nightmare afternoon in goal for QPR as they were soundly beaten 3-0 by a rampant Liverpool side with Luis Suarez on song.
Luis Suarez grabbed a brace while Cesar failed to keep out a Daniel Agger header for the third goal.
Julio Cesar made his comeback for the Rs as he took over from Robert Green, who deputised in his absence, while Lucas Leiva was rested for the visitors.
But the Brazilian could do nothing as Suarez turned centreback Clint Hill inside out before slotting the ball past Cesar and into the net.
Liverpool and Suarez quickly doubled their goal tally as the Uruguayan buried the rebound from a Raheem Sterling effort.
Cesar’s nightmare continued as he could only push Agger’s header into the net before the break as Liverpool extended their lead to 3-0.
Lucas came on for Jordan Henderson as Liverpool shored up their defence at the hour mark while Fabio was booked for a wild challenge on Sterling shortly after coming on for Shaun Wright-Phillips.
