Santos suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Atlético GO as the away side crumbled to a late comeback.

Bruno Rodrigo had given Santos the lead in the last minute of the first half and it seemed that was enough for the victory but the hosts threw caution to the wind and grabbed two goals in the last five minutes to clinch the win.

Diego Campos set the ball rolling with an 85th minute strike and goalkeeper Marcio converted a penalty in the last minute to complete the comeback as Atlético take the spoils.

Corinthians continued their preparations for the Club World Cup with a crushing 5-1 victory against Coritiba

An early flurry of goals from Chicão, Fábio Santos and Paulinho put Corinthians 3-0 up within the first 20 minutes.

A Deivid strike managed to make it 3-1 but Guerrero and Paulinho finished off the rout in the second half to seal the victory.

In the remaining fixture, Botafogo cruised to a 3-0 win over Portuguesa courtesy of goals from Bruno Mendes, Fellype Gabriel and Vítor Júnior.
