Sambafoot takes a look at Brazilians in action in last night’s Champions League…

Alexandre Pato continued his comeback from injury by grabbing an equaliser for AC Milan in their 1-1 draw against Málaga in Group C. Robinho also came off the bench.

Kaká featured in Real Madrid’s 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund, coming on as a second half substitute for Alvaro Arbeloa. Felipe Santana was left on the bench for Dortmund.

André Santos was a last minute substitute as he came on for Lukas Podolski in the dying stages in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Schalke 04.

Hilton’s Montpellier succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Olympiakos which effectively ended their hopes of progressing to the next round.

In the remaining game, Kanu featured as a substitute for Anderlecht as they secured a 1-0 victory over a Zenit St Petersburg side without the services of the injured Hulk.

There are expected to be many more Brazilians on show in tonight’s Champions League with Chelsea, Benfica, Bayern Munich and Barcelona all in action.
