Arsenal defender André Santos has told reporters of his sense of expectation ahead of his first meeting with Premier League giants Manchester United.
Andre Santos, who signed just days after his side’s 8-2 defeat at Old Trafford last season, believes that the game provides Arsenal a chance to prove their ability.
Although he expects a difficult match, the Brazilian is looking forward to matching-up against some of the league’s best right-sided players.
“It will be a very difficult game, on the road. Both teams have great squads and the entire world will be watching this game,” Santos said. “We need to be focused and ready to play a great game.
“We live for these moments, for these kinds of games and this time around, we want show that we can play well in Old Trafford, although we know the quality of our opponent.
“This will be my first game against Manchester United since I have arrived in Arsenal. I am looking forward to this great clash.
“It will not be easy, since Manchester United has a great team and on my side I will need to mark up some great players such as Rafael, Valencia, and Nani.”
