Inter Milan will be without midfielder Philippe Coutinho for their next three weeks after the Brazilian was revealed to have a small fracture in his tibia.
Coutinho, 20, played in Thursday night’s 1-0 Europa League victory over Partizan Belgrade at the San Siro, but was forced to limp-off in the second-half due to the injury.
The former Vasco youngster had impressed against his Serbian opponents, putting in a display full of trickery and invention.
However, he will no doubt feel that he should have ended the game with a goal to his name after squandering two very presentable chances before his withdrawal.
The Brazil international has scored three times in 12 appearances this season, but will miss 20-30 days with his latest injury problem.
The playmaker, whose Inter Milan career appeared to be on the ropes last season, revived his spell in Italy with a series of impressive performances whilst on-loan at Espanyol at the end of the 2011-12 season.
