Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is set to ring the changes for tonight’s Champions League clash against Portuguese opponents Braga with Anderson expected to feature.

Amongst the expected changes, it is thought that Brazilian midfielder Anderson may start in the centre of midfield at Old Trafford tonight.

The Red Devils manager told reporters: “We have a game on Sunday against Chelsea and it’s a big one for us so I’m leaving a couple of players out.”

Ferguson also dropped a hint that Anderson could feature: “Of course, we also have plenty of central midfield players. So I have an issue in terms of picking the team.”

Fellow Brazilian Rafael may also start tonight on the back of a string of strong performances at rightback and also due to Manchester United’s current injury crisis at fullback.

Sporting Braga also has a large Brazilian contingent with Paulo Vinicius, Ismaily and Douglão expected to start in defence.
