Queens Park Rangers’ Argentine midfielder Alejandro Faurlin has hailed the club’s summer signings, believing that the quality of the likes of Julio Cesar can turn their season around.

Faurlin, 26, joined Rangers in 2009 and was part of the QPR side that won promotion from the Championship, before the more recent high-profile arrivals.

With just two points from their opening seven league games, though, the 2012-13 campaign has been a disappointment for the West London side thus far, but Faurlín believes that the recently imported talent will see them rise up the table.

“They improve the quality and it’s nice to see Esteban, Julio, Park and Bosingwa,” he said. “For us we are glad to be part of this QPR.

“I guess with them it’s a bit different. It’s a different kind of pressure to win games. It might be different for them but they are top drawer professionals. We need to be able to get out of the position we are in with their help.”
