Former São Paulo youngster Oscar admits he is looking forward to the possibility of meeting former rivals Corinthians in the final of the Club World Cup in December.

Oscar, 20, will have the opportunity to feature in the event courtesy of joining current European Champions Chelsea, who will be automatic favourites to claim the title in Japan.

For Oscar, the chance to take on a side he grew up attempting to beat is a very attractive prospect:

“When I was young I was a Sao Paulo fan so there is that rivalry,” Oscar told Globo Esporte.

“It would be fantastic to play against a Brazilian team and even more so against Corinthians, one of the best in the country.”

Oscar was one of three Brazilians to feature for Chelsea this Saturday in victory over Arsenal, lining-up alongside Ramires and David Luiz as the Blues won 2-1 in Emirates Stadium.
