São Paulo attacking midfielder Jádson is not concerned by the imminent arrival of Santos star Ganso.
Earlier this week Santos president Luis Alvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro revealed that the club would accept R$23.8 million (£7.3 million) for their share of the player, which São Paulo have agreed to pay.
Jádson, who returned to Brazil in early 2012, believes the competition will be very good if Ganso chooses to move to the Morumbi Stadium.
The 28-year-old said: “Ganso is a great player, he comes to help us.
“Ney Franco will study the best way to position him in the team. It is a matter of adaptation.
“The competition will be very good.”
Ganso, who has the number 8 shirt reserved for his arrival, has played alongside Jádson for the Seleção.
The former Atlético-PR and Shakhtar Donetsk player is currently the Brasileirão’s top assist-maker, with eight, and has scored five goals this season.
