Real Madrid playmaker Kaká has stated that it is his dream to play for Brazil at the 2014 World Cup on home soil.

The 30-year-old has not featured for the Seleção since they crashed out of the World Cup finals in South Africa in July 2010.

Kaká has since struggled for form at club level, with him being forced to settle for a place on the bench at Real Madrid this campaign after his form dipped in the second half of last season.

However, the former AC Milan player is now determined to win back his place in José Mourinho’s starting eleven so that he can give himself a chance of being recalled to the Brazil squad in time for the 2014 World Cup.

”It a real incentive and dream to play in the World Cup in my home country. I’ve played three and I want to carry on at Real Madrid at a high level to have the opportunity to be able to play at that World Cup,” Kaká told reporters.
