Kaká’s wife has claimed that if her husband is to leave Real Madrid before the end of the transfer window, he will not be moving to a club outside of Brazil.

The 30-year-old has long been linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu in order to find first-team football, with a number of European clubs reportedly interested.

However, Carol Celico has revealed that in the event that her husband does leave Spain, he will be returning to the town of his first club.

She said: ”If Kaká leaves Madrid we won’t go to another country.

”We’re planning to go back to São Paulo with the whole family.”

Despite Celico’s announcement to Brazilian magazine RG, the future of Kaká still remains unknown.

AC Milan had been working to re-sign their former star player this summer but vice-president Adriano Galliani revealed recently that their pursuit was over due to tax problems.

According to AS, Madrid are only looking to move the Seleção international on permanently rather than a loan option due to his excessive wages.

With few other potential buyers around, speculation is that an arrangement could be found for the former Ballon D’Or winner to return to a club in his home country – in particular São Paulo where he spent three seasons before moving to Milan in 2003.
